In several countries I'd be shot or imprisoned for simply being who I am. How I'm supposed "move on" from this? You seem to think it's my problem, not yours, but I'm at a loss. Us homos keep trying to get equal rights and get the police to stop beating us (or pay attention when others do), but things haven't been changing much. A few semi-popular TV comedies, movies, and a moment of national drama during a slow news week (um, what was his name again, that dude they crucified on a fence in Wyoming?) don't change the legal system. They just make the media-masses feel better about themselves. Meanwhile, I still have no insurance because my husband's employer refuses to cover "domestic partners", and America's "staunch ally" Egypt just jailed 23 men on up to five year sentences, simply because they're gay (http://www.iglhrc.org/news/press/pr_011115.html). You need me? Dude, *we* need *you*. Pardon if I'm just plain stupid, but what is it I'm supposed to be "moving on" to? ]}amien
