I agree with Bijan, this article is pretty horrible.

I think that it may be true that men have less power (though white
straight men still have most of it) but that's a good thing.  If men are
insecure about it, that's their problem, not something that needs to be
"fixed".

The whole article is mostly idle conjecture.  For example, the author
states that there is less father-son bonding now than in the past.  Based
on what?  Because the author just says so?

Anyway, I think that's enough typing wasted on this article.  Its
certainly doesn't offer a particularly convincing explanation for
homophobia.
