While I am all for learning on the job, this is one very obvious
exception: the president shouldn't be learning about foreign policy
while *being* president; and, if he is, he should be a better, quicker
study; and when he makes mistakes, like slurring one side of a very
dangerous situation with a well known racial slur, he should quickly
apologize.

Which is just to reiterate what we say in the piece.
