You mean like the one who told me, in a stunning, textbook example of a
*non sequitor, to take a logic class?

Or the one who said that Bush can't be criticized because 39% of US folks
polled listed him as the man they most admired?

(While this is a record for presidents, Jackie Kennedy leaves them cold at

Or the guy who said that kendall wants retired soldiers to die to protect

I think kendall meant that his reflexes were shot, not that it was
rational to conclude this. I mean, after 12-30 or so out of the world
responses, you don't discriminate finely anymore. I'm surprised that you,
with your demostrated fineness of perception, wouldn't see that in
Kendall's reply.

Well, you're conflating results with perceived results. We get *loads* of
hits...far more than we get email. 5000+ this round. Kendall told me that
lots of people are "emailing this article" with positive comments
attached.

I've gotten positive mail too, off of Yahoo. Insane nutballs with an ax to
grind and a taste for abuse are more likely to write, that's all. I'm sure
Yahoo doesn't care at all about us, specifically.
