The "War on Terror": Sense and Nonsense

On the whole, I agree (or don't strongly disagree) with your argument.  However, if someone is trying to blow me away to make a point, whether it be the US goverment or some equally loony Saudi trained by the CIA, I'd like someone to stop them.  As for the Taliban, we can only hope someone better comes along to govern in Afghanistan (it won't be hard to find someone better than those religious crazies).  Yeah, the whole problem is being oversimplified by our gummint (that's what gummints are for); but if the crazies want to make a statement, why not make one back?
