Funny justifications... a neat trick!

At http://www.neoflux.com/cgi/news/talk.cgi?view=917, one
can read:

The anti-globalization, anti-capitalist protesters that are sure to show
up at the upcoming World Economic Forum ought to be interesting to watch.
As a group, they've been largely unable to contain their more radical
elements that consistently resort to violence during these protests, and I
don't expect anything different this time.

The big difference will be that the WEF is in New York City. And given the
current 'hero' status of all the NYC law enforcement folks, the media
reaction when the cops have to clamp down on the protesters will be
  different than previous encounters.

Maybe we'll even see a few terrorist labels thrown at the protesters. They
do seem to fit the general group - violent measures against civilian
personnel [police aren't military] in an attempt to further their
political goals. And we can look forward to the unintentionally funny
  justifications from folks like MonkeyFist.

Fairly standard (and pretty self-conflicted) stuff, but I just wanted to
point out that we should all congratulate ourselves since, according to this
person, we manage to provide justifications for antiglobalization political
activity and we're *funny* at the same time...!

Yes, yes, I realize this is supposed to be a criticism, but it's just such a
weak effort that I found it more cute than anything else.
