NYC: 2 IMPORTANT UPCOMING EVENTS FOR PALESTINE

I) FRIDAY, MAY 17, 2002, 5:00PM:
   Rally at 14th St between Avenues B and C 
   March past Union Square to 6th Ave. 
   Ending rally on 14th St at 6th Ave.
 
 On the 54th Anniversary of the Palestinian Nakbe, sympathizers with
the victims of the jenin massacre will demonstrate their anger at Israeli
terrorism.  They will be joined by people of conscience and by thousands
of Palestinians, Arabs, and Muslims to mark not only the massacre at
Jenin but also to commemorate the catastrophe of 1948 known as the Nakbe.
 Speakers will expose the crimes committed in Jenin this past April.
Other speakers will deliver international messages of solidarity with
Palestine being conscious of US guilt in providing money, military technology,
and armaments in support of Israeli aggression.
