you do not know me, my name is Jeremy.

on 30 Dec. 2001 you wrote the bellow message to a less then literate individual expressing nothing more then barbaric racism.  I must however, offer intelligent rebuttal.  Before I do that I must be clear on your stand point(s).  Are you saying that 1.) the Confederate Flag is a racist statement that has no place in America today (as I find is the view of many lately) 2.) that statements such as "in God we trust" are equally out of place in the US government? Please clarify your standing to me so that I may make some informed debate.  My goal is not to persuade you to my line of thinking, but to enlighten you to my understanding and correct the ignorant attacks on God and Freedom in the United States today.

Can you say any more about your position?  Tell us, for example, why does
the Confederate battle flag deserve to remain on the state flag in any of
the states in which it still does?  Thankfully, the state of Georgia has
changed their flag to one which recognizes the historical significance of
the rebel flag alongside several other historical banners -- although it's
a horribly ugly flag, one which could only have been designed by a
committee, and they've managed to commit another offense against
progressive thought by inserting "In God We Trust" at the bottom.  How does
the unconstitutional establishment of religion on a state flag compare with
the use of an emblem of racism, in your view?
