Why don't the people of Argentina default on the IMF loans and eliminate all control of Argentina resources by the IMF? The IMF is a loan shark who is only interested in profit (interest ontop of interest). Until the leaches are removed, blood (natural resources) will exit the country. Think about it: Natural resources owned by the people of Argentina are removed by private corporations at a profit realized only by the corporations. In one way, for example, if I allowed Shell to drill for oil on my land, then when the struck oil, I wouldn't get a dime for "my" oil. What kind of deal is that? IMF and multi-national corporations are providing what benefits to the people of Argentina? If I am one of those people attending regular, local assembly meetings, am I recieving any benefit, directly or indirectly, from the IMF or multi-national corporations? My guess is a resounding no!. So throw the bums out. I realize it's oversimplistic on my part, but I was hoping someone would write an article on what what happen if Argentina siezed all multi-national corporation assets in the country and refused to recognize the IMF. What would be the consequences? Paul Medus, Ph.D. _________________________________________________________________ Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: http://messenger.msn.com
