You may be very busy in your personal affairs or other causes dear to you. You may not be in need of
us but we need your indulgence.

The events of September 11, 2001 and the aftermath has jolted minorities not only in Pakistan but all

over the world.

Pakistan based World Minorities Alliance has a fair record of safeguarding the interests and rights of
minorities spread over twenty five years. I as Convenor of the World Minorities Alliance have been
elected five times to represent Christian community in Parliament on one
of the seats reserved for minorities and served a tenure as a federal minister in Pakistan government.

The latest developments necessitated the struggle to be broadbased. We have no ambition to promote
ourselves at the cost of others. We just want to survive with honour and dignity. We plan to raise a
World Minorities Assembly for Peace and launch an Electronic Channel for peace
education in a bid to safeguarding the interests of minorities around the globe.
