Response: The CBC has always been and continues to be a world leader in fair and courageous journalism. Unlike the majority of US media outlets, the CBC, in all of its forms, presents challenging and thought provoking journalism that actually provides tangible value to the consumer. US news media providers should take a lesson or two from their underfunded colleague to the North. FOX and CNN in particular would likely find that, after a small ratings correction, the consuming public would appreciate being treated as though they have minds in addition to wallets. Happily, this list is on the list of exceptions. Charles A.
