http://www.palestinemonitor.org/updates/15_year_old_killed.htm Israeli troops kill 15 year-old boy in Gaza and invade Nablus again January 23, 2004 Israeli troops shot and killed a 15 year-old boy while he was collecting firewood on the Gaza Strip yesterday. Mohsen Aldaur from Jebalia in Gaza City went with five friends to collect wood for heating in an area east of the city. They were gathering wood when they were fired on with live ammunition by Israeli troops. Doctors in Gaza said that Mohsen had been killed by bullets all over his body. Two of Mohsen's friends were also shot and injured. The troops transferred them to a hospital in Israel. The other friends managed to escape unhurt. The soldiers claimed the boys had been attempting to break into Israel. Arrests and demolition in Nablus Israeli occupying forces made a large number of arrests and began demolishing an apartment building during another invasion of Nablus yesterday morning. At about 6 a.m., Israeli troops attacked the area around Abu Obayda street in the western part of the city. The troops, firing live ammunition, rubber bullets and sound bombs, began house-to-house searches and arrested a large number of Palestinians. The soldiers then surrounded a three-storey apartment building with armored vehicles. Hadija Assaruyan (53), who lives in a neighboring building, told Palestine Monitor that she had been woken by the Israeli troops firing on the apartments and using loudspeakers to call on those inside to surrender. Bulldozers then began to demolish the building for sheltering militants. Hadija said she had seen no-one arrested from the building. _______________________________________________ Rad-Green mailing list [email protected] To change your options or unsubscribe go to: http://lists.econ.utah.edu/mailman/listinfo/rad-green
