I must state that this turn of events is good news, especially in the light of the previously proposed trial in Spain-- where no matter how much we might hate the General, it is not a viable hatred to overshadow the dangerous omen provided by having Third World citizens put on trial by imperialist courts (that plan would be fine immediately after the also mentally diminishing Thatcher goes on trial in Argentina for war crimes in 1982). Such trials are a violation of sovereignty and about reinforcing the dominance of the White Man's Burden just as surely as invading Iraq, Yugoslavia or any other sovereign state is.
