NEW YORK CITY DAYS OF ACTION
Defiant Mass Mobilization Continues in Face of Militarization and Desperate
Intimidation Tactics

With the organization of countless busses, car caravans and train rides, and
community spaces and the homes of thousands of New Yorkers opened to
activists arriving from around the country, the mass mobilization for the
New York City Days of Action on the occasion of the Republican National has
continued to build momentum. Buses have been organized from across the
Northeast, and from Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota Texas and elsewhere.
Activist ride boards are filled with cars providing space for those
traveling from California, Washington, Tennessee, Colorado, and Georgia.
People from around the world are also mobilizing, with Canadians organizing
buses from Toronto and Kingston and delegations joining with buses and cars
leaving from U.S. cities. Undaunted by the government's bankrupt "terror
alerts," a militarized city, FBI intimidation and refusal to provide rally
permits, the spirit of Americans standing defiant and united as one with all
the peoples of the world will be given vigorous expression in New York City.
