A good man indeed and I'm sorry to hear of his leaving us. We were both Presidential candidates in 1980 - he from the Citizens Party (and me from the SP). Sometimes one wishes we could skip the news, but mortality will tap us on the shoulder whether we read the papers or not.

Barry Commoner, a good man indeed, has died at 95. I was pleased to vote for him and Ladonna Harris (Comanche) on the Citizens Party ticket, in 1980. I had earlier worked with Ms. Harris in a couple of solid projects sponsored by Americans for Indian Opportunity, which she headed.
