I signed a petition being circulated by U.S. Labor Against the War to Prime Minister Nouri Al Maliki in Iraq to demand that the government drop criminal charges against the president of the Iraq Federation of Oil Unions and respect labor rights for Iraqi workers.  

The Iraqi government is retaliating against leaders of the oil workers union following strikes they conducted to demand redress of their grievances and respect for their rights.   I hope you will join me by signing it and getting others to do so.
