I'm pleased to note this essay, "Organizing That Changed Mississippi" in the current January/February 2014 issue of AGAINST THE CURRENT. The essay includes reviews of my book, Jackson Mississippi, and Anne Moody's, Coming of Age in Mississippi. It also contains the link to my long essay on Medgar Evers that appeared in the July/August 2013 issue of AGAINST THE CURRENT. Good way indeed to commence this New Year.
