This message is a bit brief since we are still installing some things on my new computer. Within a five week period of time, our washing machine and our huge 20 year old refrigerator, Maria's computer, and then mine a few days later -- all crashed. Since our website server provides us with alternative mail boxes, I could retrieve your latest two messages with your e-mail address. We have replaced everything but it's taken some doing.


We haven't had, so far, much of a real fire season. We have gotten a LOT of rain, some of it very heavy. So far, this summer, no known hostiles lurking around.


Eldri is still recovering from the late winter/spring illnesses. Maria and I seem to be OK. Lupus has never returned. Other family members are fine.


Thomas and Mimie and Baby Willow were here recently for a week's visit. Among other sights, we took in the very "classy" new and large events/convention center the Shoshone/Bannock nation has built on the nearby Ft Hall res. Everything very "proper" -- right down to a Native doorman. Hope very much this pays off for the tribe. Their nearby casino is doing well.
