Not much psychological relief fromthe news these days.
Films via Dish don=E2=80=99t seem to beoffering much either =E2=80=93 vampi=
res and zombies are in, followed by monsters from deep waters or outer spac=
e. In other flick genres, people are shootingeach other, often in inter-gen=
der fashion, and superficial sex flows like aflash flood.Soft music helps b=
ut onlyso much.Kiddy cartoons, though, can behelpful pallatives in any age =
range.
If you listen carefully, one can nowhear the faint music of doom/gloom and =
hysteria =E2=80=93 as the paranoid strains inAmerican culture are strummed =
by the specters of ISIS and Ebola.
I do think the latter is beingincreasingly well managed.
A serious question:Are there any data regarding Ebola in dryand/or cold cli=
mate settings?
