ll around and the respective projects of both the reformist nor revolutiona=
ry wings of the workers=E2=80=99 movement have each failed in their own way=
. With the advent of job-destroying AI and robotics, the prospects for a re=
vival of a working class movement with the power to shut down production an=
d to contend for political power don=E2=80=99t look promising.

Despite my pessimism of the intellect, I still muster a little optimism of =
the will when I see tiny green shoots of change appear, whatever their impe=
rfections, such as the DSA in the US or the Cockroach movement in India, an=
d continue to hope for their further development.
