My first point is that an analysis of the DSA platforms and how they are created misses the main problem of the DSA's current direction, which is electoralism to the exclusion of mass organizing. Second, in my opinion, the crisis in the US today is not Bonapartist in that workers are threatening the rule of the capitalists, workers are not organized independently of the capitalist parties. The crisis is among the capitalists who have no consensus amongst themselves on what to do now that neoliberalism has failed.
