No disagreement and never has been about politicians and officials being subject to recall and salary caps and rank-and-file control over policy and their public activity, Tony.  As you know, that's been a long standing principle on the Marxist left although more often  honoured in the breach than the observance.

I actually very much respect your orientation to the DSA and your meticulous critique of its policies and strategy through your writing. Our differences over your analysis of the class are secondary and IMO stand apart from your practical advice.

This can also serve as my reply to your latest comment on the other "Subaru socialists" thread.
