There has always been a distinction made between Bundism and Marxism and moreso by the Marxist doctrinists. For example it was Plekenov who defined Bundism as Zionism with sea-sickness.
The reference by Nathaniel Flakin that "Trotsky insisted ( https://www.marxists.org/history/international/social-democracy/rsdlp/1903/ch05.htm ) that Jewish socialists like himself were “no less representatives of the Jewish proletariat” than the Bundists"  indicates the lack of perception that a People can be a Nation and that a Nation is not necessarily a State.
It took Trotsky until 1937 to actually come to the realization that the Jewish People are a Nation within a Nation. This realization arose from the rise of Nazism in the Marxian homeland where it had been the task of Jewish Germans to assimilate, as he had done. Such a Liberal notion was not possible and national liberation was required.
Nonetheless, the Marxist currents remained entrenched in the Statist paradigm and so refused to recognize the Jewish People as a Nation. Until. Until the Christian Protestant notion of a Jewish State became adopted by many petit-bourgeois Jewish Europeans, in the face of fascism. Then the Communist Parties adopted the Zionist Crusader State as an example of Popular Frontism with the Jewish naitonal bourgeoisie. The Trotskyist parties did not, but did not recognize the Jewish People as a constituency either. It was back to the 1903 exclusion of the Jewish Bund again.
When will they ever learn - likely not.
Marxism retains this reactionary Statist conception and so rules itself out of consideration.
That is why I no longer participate in this List.
