Instead of Romer analyzing her problem, delivering a self-criticism to a circle of DSA'ers and listening, then working on how to do interviews as a political task, DSA decides to offload press contact to a new position, a "Press Coordinator."

Sure enough, DSA has a job posting at

The job is one of several listed on the DSA Careers webpage, https://www.dsausa.org/about-us/careers/ but job posting that it goes to is a webpage run by ADP, the $20 billion/year corporation to which companies outsource their Human Resources work. And it reads pretty much like a corporate job posting.

Romer is talked of as part of the "left wing" of DSA. She knows next to nothing about socialism. She does know that "Gaza" can be reduced to a label and a litmus test. That savvy served her well for DSA infighting, but she couldn't handle it as a real horror during an interview. DSA has contending gangs more than it has a left and right wing.

The whole incident resembles a CEO flubbing a Wall Street interview, so he hires someone to handle corporate publicity.
