NYT piece on how big tech captured education

Good as far as it goes but doesn't really analyze or examine the relationship of capital in general to what it sees as pots of public money that can be profitably privatized and captured. The same dynamic exists in standardized testing, in textbook publishing, in school construction/property holdings, in charter schools, in student (and institutional) debt, in academic research, etc. etc.
