Re: Jail sentence for Ukrainian Trotskyist is an assault on free speech

David Walters claims that talk about Code Pink's pro-regime tour of Iran
was quite active among socialists. Who denounced it? Where? When? I did. I
organized an open letter to Code Pink before one of the tours, urging them
to abandon the plan. Where was that letter, or anything similar circulated?

RKOB says that the Russian insignia that Syrotiuk had was in fact communist
insignia. Maybe it was, although that's the first time I've heard anybody
make that claim.

My main reason for skepticism of him and those who defend him politically
is based on the overall list that I sent in my last email. Does David
Walters deny my point about the non-campist left ignoring the money from
Ionov that went to Uhuru House/African Peoples Socialist Party? (This is a
different issue from the criminal charges per se.) How about the other
points I made such as the debates with the likes of Margaret Kimberly and
Medea Benjamin? Or the most recent example - how the non-campist left
allowed the campists to ignore Putin's connections with fascism at an
alleged anti-fascist conference

I made that point in an email list of Ukraine supporters. This was a list
on which there had been a lot of discussion about that conference, yet when
I raised that point do you know what happened? Two people responded to me
individually and nobody responded to the list itself. That conference
received a great deal of attention on the left, including the non-campist
left, but where else, who else, pointed out that it was in fact not an
anti-fascist conference and that, in fact, by covering up for Putin it was
complicit with him and his fascist connections? Who pointed that out?

Who else is pointing out the absolute scandal of the fact that people on
the left collaborated with fascists at the 2014 AGMR conference? Who?

Sorry, folks, but it is undeniable that all too many socialists are
reluctant to fully expose the fascist connections that the Putinized left
has.
