On [chox] I just found a message pointing to

which just "released" a car. The sources shall be available under a
Creative Commons License under

	http://www.40fires.org/

From what I understood from the German article there are some
similarities to the concept Jacco presented during [ox4].

Looks to me like now we have really kind of a race for the first Open
Source car...
