The issues of what is 'limited' or 'scarce' and by what measure or means
seem so fundamental that I am a bit terrified that I still don't have a
clear grasp of the space in which we are having this discussion.

The P2P Foundation's wiki entry on scarcity certainly doesn't do justice to
the range of what we discuss here, but I'm unsure how to expand it, as yet.
