Previous Politech message: http://www.politechbot.com/2005/09/21/reply-to-epic/ -------- Original Message -------- Subject: Re: [Politech] Reply to EPIC letter questioning Roberts' views on electronic privacy [priv] Date: Sun, 25 Sep 2005 18:27:58 -0400 From: Jonathan Weinberg <[email protected]> To: Declan McCullagh <[email protected]> Declan -- I was going to let this go unremarked, but there's something unutterably sad about Mr. Lipscomb explaining to the rest of us <http://www.politechbot.com/2005/09/21/reply-to-epic/> that EPIC's concerns about Roberts lie in the fact that (apparently) EPIC are "liberal Jews," a small group "so disproportionately in power," and that the liberal Jews cannot countenance more than a small percentage of top legal jobs going to members of the religion shared by "the majority of Americans." This is hate-filled nonsense, and -- to pull a phrase from Lipscomb's opening -- I say to hell with it.
