Who Lies? Obama Has Made a Career of Lying "Bennett said former Sen. Howell Hefflin (D-Ala.) insisted that the two be included in the formal public inquiry because otherwise there would have been a month of public hearings "with no Republicans in the dock." The other members of the Keating Five were Democrats. "It was clear that McCain should not have been at the table nor should Glenn," Bennett said. "I felt it was unfair for McCain to be included as part of the Keating Five." Bennett stressed that he was not speaking as part of the campaign, though he noted he also represented McCain in his recent battles with the New York Times. The sharp defense of McCain by Dowd was in contrast to McCain's previous contrition about his involvement in the matter. He told the New York Times in 1999 that going into the meetings with regulators was a mistake. "Going into that room gave a definite appearance of impropriety," he said." (As reported in the Washington Post by Michael Abramowitz) (Any "gifts" McCain received were legal contributions. McCain never conducted himself unethically.) McCain was not guilty of anything. He was exonerated and yet twenty years later it is the Obama campaign that revives that story. Why? Because it is a standard procedure for liars to cover up their own errors of judgment, which in Obama's case has been intentional - to cover them with false accusations. His entire career has been one of one lie after another. "We're seeing the opposite from Barack Obama," he said. (ibid) The Ethics Committee, chaired by Democrats couldn't convict McCain of anything but they did criticize him for exercising poor judgment. The only poor judgment was to think he could reach across the isle and talk with Democrats. Democrats want nothing less than redistribution of wealth and if bankrupting the country first is the only way they can do it, that is what they will do and they are doing just that. These bank failures are the fault of Democrats and Obama's involvement with ACORN who strong armed banks to deed over homes to unqualified buyers - who they knew would never be able to pay for them. This was their plan. This and violations of the Logan Act and other crimes against the economic well-being of this country should result not in Obama continuing his crimal activity from the White House, but a long prison term in a federal pentitentary.
