What Happened to the Change? Never before have any of us ever experienced an election like this. Barack Obama is not what he claims to be. Americans have been scammed. So, if you thought Bush was bad, you haven't seen anything yet. Actually, we can legitimately credit Bush and his team for keeping us safe the last 7 years. We have not been attacked again and every attempt (and there have been several) have been thwarted by this administration. Historians may judge him entirely different than how he has been perceived by the 70% of those who disapprove of his performance in office. Obama has NEVER disclosed anything. No records from his time in the Illinois Senate (they have been destroyed); no records from school (his or hers) and no _authenticated_ birth certificate. Nothing he has ever written except those puff pieces which he released as autobiographies - intended to tell the story he wanted known. He fabricated a persona. There is still some litigation which may be headed for the Supreme Court, but I doubt anything will come of any of it. Who didn't know there were problems with Barack Obama? What candidate could get away with what he has unless they already had guarantees? He was the selected ONE. The big money have chosen. Or was it the Saudis? Where did the millions of dollars come from? Maybe there is no purpose for us to think we can ever make a difference by voting? This is not some banana republic. We're not going to have an insurrection. But I do think we need to try to get the process changed and make it democratic. Maybe someday that will happen? I know some people are just too dumb to vote; too uninformed and too easily swayed. Obama won because he outspent everyone. Who could spend a billion dollars on an election and not disclose where most of it came from? 96% of his constituency was black and the youth who did come out, he got most of the 18-29 year old vote. Academics and big money backed him and so did some of his Arab friends - and we don't know what effect that is going to have (but I suspect it won't be good). Some (perhaps many) will yell discrimination, but I don't think anyone under 50 should be able to vote in a national election and then only if they pass a citizenship awareness test. Almost 5 million are coming to Washington, D.C. for the Inauguration. If you thought 84,000 at Invesco Field was something and 200,000 at his victory rally in Grant Park in Chicago was something, just wait for the inauguration. The "spectacular" Inaugural Balls, 7 or 8 of them, will be under-written by major corporations, including Shell Oil Company. AND Washington, D.C. is preparing for almost as many visitors to the inauguration as live there. Over 4 million visitors are expected. The population of D.C. is about 5.5 million. There is no denying that this will be a huge history making event. This is the first time a half and half Black-White president has ever been sworn as the president of the United States. And by the way, we are all inter-related if we trace back far enough. Everyone has a common universal ancestor (referred to as LUCA). AND we Homo sapiens all emigrated out of Africa. For the ceremony, there will be 240,000, some sitting blocks from the podium and watching the event on "strategically placed JumboTrons". "Admission to the ceremony is by ticket only, available for free through congressional offices. There were reports of tickets being offered online for as much as $40,000, not bad for what is supposed to be the midst of a recession." [Dale McFeathers, Scripps News - 11/19/2008] "If you attend the swearing in, you in all probability can't attend the inaugural parade down Pennsylvania Avenue. You can do one or the other, but probably not both unless you're lucky or a guest of the Obamas or Bidens. By the time the newly sworn-in president ducks into the Capitol for a quick bite to eat with the lawmakers, the parade route will have filled up, actually long before that because some dedicated parade-goers camp out." [Scripps] There are only 95,000 hotel rooms in D.C. To cram everyone into a room, there would have to be 42 people in each one of them. Some people have rented rooms out in their homes for tens of thousands of dollars. AND this is a recession? I won't be there, but many passionate Obama worshipers will be. It is interesting however that I am now hearing from many former Obamabots who are wondering what happened to all that change he promised, especially after they see who he has been appointing to his regime. I don't care for conspiracies, but you know every law-maker is going to be there. What if terrorists struck Washington during the inauguration? I'm sure there will be a lot of security and the air space will be restricted, but what if one of our enemies, like North Korea, using a 3 stage ballistic missile (it would take only 30 minutes) struck D.C. during the inauguration? Or Iran? I don't want to layout all of the many scenarios: Use your imagination. Can they make the entire district safe? I don't think so. It would be a shot heard around the world. Would they dare? Do you doubt that there are sleeper cells in America just waiting for the chance to kill us? What do you think?
