'Turkish families request ICC flotilla investigation'

Turkish lawyers representing Turks injured or killed in the May 30th flotilla 
incident have written to International Criminal Court (ICC) Prosecutor Luis 
Moreno Ocampo requesting a formal investigation into the event, The Guardian 
reported on Friday. According to the report, the letter to Ocampo claimed there 
is an "overwhelming case" for prosecution.
A lawyer for one of the Turkish firms representing those injured said, "The 
attack on the flotilla occurred in international waters, which directly violated 
many parts on international law as well as international public and criminal 
law," said the Guardian report.

U.S. Won’t Recover Lost Jobs Until March 2020 At Current Pace

The U.S. economy lost 95,000 jobs in September, far worse than expectations for 
no change in employment. More Census-related temp jobs ended, as expected, but 
state and local governments slashed staff far more than predicted.
So far in 2010, the U.S. has added just 613,000 jobs — for a monthly average of 
68,111.
Employment bottomed in December 2009 at 129.588 million — two years after 
peaking at 137.951 million. At this year’s pace, the U.S. won’t recoup all those 
8.36 million lost jobs* until March 2020 — 147 months after the December 2007 
high.
What makes me very nervous about these numbers is the reality that, 
historically, the US has gotten out of depressions through war.
One has to wonder, with so many designated "flash points" around the world, 
against whom the next war will be initiated by this country in the attempt to 
get it out of its economic situation, and what the ultimate repercussions of 
such a war will be.

China UFO - Shenlong Space Plane Advances China’s Military Space Potential

While both unmanned and manned space planes could serve a range of scientific 
and commercial missions, it is also clear that the PLA envisions such vehicles 
to perform military missions. Chinese military literature has long suggested the 
PLA seeks to dominate outer space and its successful January 11, 2007 
interception and destruction of a satellite demonstrated the PLA now has an 
initial space combat capability not currently possessed by the United States.
Now, this gets interesting. The real videos of the China UFO (not the obvious 
fakes with disks and lights) clearly show an ultra-high atmospheric vehicle in 
operation, with at least a portion of the flight above the atmosphere. Whether 
what was seen in the Chinese sky was the Shenlong, Hermez, or the "601" H-2, the 
message is clear. Whether weaponized or not, China's space program has jumped 
way beyond that of the United States.
So why the UFO cover story?
Simple. America's self-image is in large part linked to the Apollo Moon program 
and America's achievements in space during the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s. But the 
shuttle fleet is about to be retired after suffering a 40% loss rate, and the 
replacement shuttle, along with the return to the Moon, have been cut from 
NASA's budget by the Obama administration. Indeed NASA is but a thin shadow of 
its former self, like NOAA mostly used for propaganda value to support the push 
for a global carbon tax. After the last shuttle flies, Americans will no longer 
be able to fly into space; our crews will have to hitch rides on other nations' 
rockets.
So now as the USA loses its space-faring capability comes a dramatic 
demonstration that China has advanced into some amazing new technologies. The 
USA failed to keep up because once again short-sighted government policy 
squandered the technology lead created by the Apollo program in the 1960s.
This is a major embarrassment for the US government, especially just before an 
election, especially for the President and the Congress that gutted NASA to 
shower money all over Wall Street and buy F-35s for Israel.
Now, in studying the video I think that what was over the skies of China was not 
specifically the Shenlong. The Shenlong is a non-staged vehicle and in the below 
video what appears to be a staging event is seen at 30 seconds.
From the flight performance, and staging, I think we are dealing with a larger 
vehicle, like the Aurora a high altitude transport that deploys a much smaller 
exo-atmospheric vehicle. And this Chinese image showing potential designs for 
manned space shuttles includes such a design, possibly the Horizontal take-off 
and completely reusable H-2.
This talk of UFOs is intended to conceal from the voters and taxpayers that 
other nations have taken the lead in space away from the United States.
Even if we avoid war with China, what remains of America's manufacturing is 
heavily sales of weapons promoted as the most technologically advanced in the 
world. But that claim, and those sales, may be about to crumble in the face of a 
clear demonstration that China is the new technological giant of the 21st 
Century!

Report: North Korea moving toward nuclear weapons

weapons, according to a report Friday by the Institute for Science and 
International Security.
Pyongyang has moved beyond laboratory-scale work and is now capable of building 
a "at the very least, a pilot-scale" plant of centrifuges to enrich uranium, 
said the report based partly on information about North Korea's equipment 
purchases from other nations.
Considering the object lesson the US gave the world with their invasion and 
occupation of Iraq, which did not have a nuclear deterrent, (contrary to the 
pack of lies the American people were fed at the time), one can hardly blame 
North Korea for moving ahead here, if this story is true.

Afghanistan: War without end

war in Afghanistan.
The war could continue simply because its momentum is now unstoppable.
And who actually wins, in this war without end?

It is not the Afghan people, desperately poor, and dealing with a dysfunctional,

government’s outrage at the Nobel Peace Prize commission’s decision to award

Memo to China's Ambassador to Norway: this award has already been completely

the largely nebulous terror threat against Europe, insisting it justifies the

What this war is and has always been about is potential private profit from a 
publicly funded war. The spoils were to have been from the installation of 
pipelines with which to control Eurasian oil, drug profits, defense contractors' 
profits, and profits from the huge mineral resources which abound here.
Nearly 10 years on, the profits being seen from this war have primarily gone to 
the defense contractors and drug dealers.

The cost of war in Afghanistan from 2001 to present is over three hundred 
fifty-three billion (with a B), and escalating rapidly.
The war has been of absolutely no benefit to the American people in terms of 
enhancing the security of this country, nor has it created any degree of 
stabilization in Afghanistan; in fact, it has done just the opposite.
People in Afghanistan and beyond don't "hate us because we are free": they hate 
us because, on a daily basis, they are seeing their wives, kids, friends, and 
loved ones being exterminated or maimed for life who are not in any way 
insurgents.

But what this approach has done (as it inevitably would) has been to push those 
left standing into the waiting embrace of the insurgents.
There is one classical definition of insanity, and that is repeating the same 
thing, again and again, and expecting a different outcome.
It appears that the White House, State Department, and Pentagon are in absolute 
lock step in doing this in their policies toward Afghanistan. They are locked in 
a militarily unwinnable situation, but don't know what to do, except to keep 
doing what has not worked for almost a decade.
Of course, for the DOD and Pentagon, perpetual war guarantees one thing: 
perpetual funding.
What this country needs is a Department of Peace, which would be tasked as to 
how to achieve geopolitical outcomes without resorting to war.

Another frame-up starts to collapse.

James Cromitie, David Williams, Onta Williams and Laguerre Payen are on trial in 
federal court in Manhattan on charges of attempting to use weapons of mass 
destruction, conspiracy and other crimes. They are accused of engaging in a plot 
to detonate bombs outside a synagogue in the Riverdale section of the Bronx and 
to shoot down military planes with missiles last year.
They have denied wrongdoing and their lawyers have argued they were entrapped by 
a government informant.
Mark B. Gombiner, a lawyer for Onta Williams, said he was upset the document was 
in the jurors' notebooks because it was basically "a confession."
"I would like to say something about it," Mr. Gombiner said. "I don't know what 
to say, I'm a little discombobulated."
Looks like someone got caught trying to tamper with the jury to secure a 
conviction. Or alternatively, rather than risk an embarrassing acquittal, 
someone decided to force a mistrial.

Flotilla victims' families to International Criminal Court: Prosecute Israel

The families of the victims of the May 31 clashes aboard the Turkish Gaza-bound 
aid ship Mavi Marmara have petition the International Criminal Court in Hague to 
prosecute Israeli soldiers, the Guardian reported Friday.
Israeli navy commandos killed nine Turkish activists aboard the Mavi Marmara, 
one of several ships taking part in a Turkish-backed aid flotilla aiming to 
violate Israel's naval blockade of the Gaza Strip. Dozens of activists, as well 
as Israeli troops, were injured during the clashes.
Correction: Only 8 Turkish activists were killed. The 9th was an AMERICAN 
CITIZEN, BORN IN NEW YORK, AND CARRYING A US PASSPORT AT THE TIME OF HIS MURDER!

This hoax and others like it you perpetually insist on emailing us are designed 
to take the focus off the fact that it was ISRAEL, not those mean-old Muslims, 
who attacked and captured Americans in International Waters last May, murdering 
one American in cold blood. Although you probably did not see it on the TV news, 
the United Nations Human Rights Council concluded that Israel’s attack on the 
aid flotilla, in which 8 Turks and 1 American were murdered, was a “brutal” 
(UNHRC’s words) violation of international law in support of a blockade which it 
itself a violation of International law. Again, while you did not hear it on the 
TV news, the government of Turkey has referred Israel’s attack on the aid 
flotilla to the International Criminal Court in the Hague. i.e. this is now a 
war-crimes issue.
Israel has a huge propaganda machine aimed at America, because Israel gets 
billions of dollars in financial and military aid from the taxpayers by waving 
this “HAMAS is bad and we are good” propaganda all over the place.
Again, you did not see this on the US media; you have to go to foreign sources 
to learn that a UNITED STATES SENATE REPORT found that Israel routinely BRIBES 
the presstitutes in the American media to present the news in a way that favors 
Israel, often at the expense of the truth.

The US media assumes that weak-minded fools who do not bother to check the facts 
(the kind of people Stalin referred to as “useful idiots”) will simply parrot 
what they are told on TV and propaganda emails to give the appearance that they

The reality is quite a bit different. HAMAS won the elections in Gaza in 2006. 
They are the legitimate government.

In 2007, Israel’s puppet regime FATAH tried and failed to seize control of Gaza. 
It was at that point that Israel blockaded Gaza, not because of security but in 
order to starve the people of Gaza into surrendering their elected government 
and accepting Israeli proxy rule through FATAH. This is documented in Israel’s 
own internal documents as reported (again in the foreign press) by McClatchy 
news.

When the seizure by FATAH failed, and the people of Gaza refused to surrender 
their elected government, Israel broke a 6 month cease fire and attacked Gaza on 
November 4th, 2008, hoping that the American people were too distracted by the 
elections to pay much attention while Israel started a new war of conquest 
called Operation CAST LEAD, also denounced by the United Nations as a brutal 
violation of International Law.
In other words, when you ignore the bought-and-paid for propaganda in the US 
media, what is actually going on here is a repeat of the 1948 Soviet Blockade of 
West Berlin, done in order to starve the people of West Berlin into surrendering 
their elected government and accepting Soviet proxy rule through East Germany. 
Of course, back then the rest of the world saw such starvation tactics as wrong 
and mounted the Berlin Airlift. The blockade then failed.
Today, what the bought-and-paid for media is trying to sell you is that what the 
USSR could not be allowed to do to West Berlin Israel must be allowed to do to 
Gaza; starve the people of Gaza into surrendering their elected government and 
accepting Israeli proxy rule through FATAH. The US aids this policy of conquest 
by starvation. In other words, we as a nation are guilty of the same crimes the 
USSR committed against West Berlin in 1948.
The US (specifically the government) are the bad guys here. I know you do not 
want to hear that. From our last conversation in which you stated you thought 
torturing confessions out of people was proof of guilt, it is clear that you 
want to believe the US are the good guys without actually having to work to 
force the government to BE good guys. I would prefer you join the rest of 
humanity in the real world. However, if you want to live in your own private 
little world of self delusion, gratefully accepting every piece of propaganda 
handed to you that gives you an excuse not to really think about the evil is 
going on right before your nose, that is your right. But kindly stop trying to 
infect the rest of us with your mental delusions because you are making 
Americans look really dumb to the rest of the world.

Latest USDA report stuns grain futures markets

The latest news release from the U.S. Department of Agriculture is the 
equivalent of a blockbuster record to commodity futures brokers and traders - 
and it's corn, wheat and soybean futures that are soaring up the charts.
In essence, the USDA said that U.S. cornfields will generate yields far smaller 
than either analysts or the USDA's own researchers had projected. Last month, 
the department was calling for a record crop with yields of 162.5 bushels per 
acre.
But hot weather and heavy rains haven't helped, and analysts guessed that this 
month's figure would come in at 159.9 bushels per acre.

U.S. Gets Another Month To Revive Mideast Peace Talks

Mideast peace talks from collapsing.

Bush-dominated appeals court suppresses Gitmo evidence

A Guantanamo Bay detainee who says he was waterboarded lost a legal battle 
Friday when a federal appeals court ruled that the Obama administration can keep 
information secret that the prisoner wanted to make public.
In a 3-0 decision, the appeals court said U.S. District Judge Ellen Segal 
Huvelle had failed to give substantial deference "to the government's assessment 
of its foreign relations and national security interests" if certain information 
were to be revealed. Huvelle had declared that "I don't understand how" 
revealing the information "will interfere in anything."
The point of this is not that the court is "Bush appointed": the point of this 
is that the cancer which is the paranoic "state above all, and the truth be 
damned" mentality evident here will metastasize and infect every aspect of 
American jurisprudence, which is frightening.
One can sense that American law is rapidly devolving into a "Code Napoleon" 
system where a person is presumed guilty until proven innocent, an absolutely 
evil inversion from the current legal norms in this country.

Foreign Secretary William Hague confirmed today that Linda Norgrove, 36, was

Another video of the "China UFO" which suggests that the current media obsession 
with UFOs is a repeat of the tactic in which space aliens are waved about to 
obfuscate evidence of top-secret aircraft/spacecraft development. Again this 
video suggest a hypersonic wave rider type craft, with indications of stage 
separation. At one point the exhaust changes from a parabolic shape to a true 
cone, which tells us the object has climbed above the atmosphere. The Aurora 
concept being tested in the US back in the late 1980s and early 1990s pre-dates 
the Scaled Composites design for Spaceship one, in which a large carrier craft 
takes a smaller ship up to altitude, then deploys it for a high speed high 
altitude exo-atmospheric run. This looks like what we are seeing here.
If China or Russia have succeeded where the US failed, then WW3 is already over 
and we did not win it.
Alternatively, we may be seeing what was built with that $3 trillion that went 
missing from the Pentagon budget in 2001 and the US is flying it over Russia and 
China to send a message to them.

Mystery UFO Light over China July 2010

This appears to be an experimental hypersonic "wave rider" aircraft of some 
kind, similar to the Aurora. It is flying high enough to still be in sunlight 
making the exhaust seem to glow. Because the rate of expansion of the exhaust is 
seen to slow down, the vehicle is within the upper atmosphere. That it is flying 
in sunlight over a major city does suggest this is an intentional display of 
some kind as normally such experimental craft are flight tested away from prying 
eyes.

request to allow soldiers to testify behind a screen in the lawsuit filed by
