Attorney Stephen B. Kaufman, celebrated his new office in the City of the  
Bronx

Bronx  NYC: On May 14, 2011 A famous American lawyer, Stephen B. Kaufman 
celebrated  together with his staff, friends and clients a large expansion of 
his new office  in the Bronx. The new office, “Law Office of Stephen B. 
Kaufman, P.C.” is  located at 2916 Bruckner Blvd, Bronx, New  York. 
BRONX - NY : The  grand opening was attended by Bronx President Ruben Diaz 
Jr., City Council  member Mr. James Vacca, (D-Bronx), president of the 
Albanian American Society  Foundation-U.S. Mr. Esad A. Rizai, Vice President 
Haxhi Berisha professor,  distinguished community activist Mark Gjonaj, “Taxi 
and Limousine  Commission,  Mr. Sali Bollati prominent  activist in the U.S. 
Cham issue, the publisher and editor of the Albanian  American newspaper 
Illyria , Mr. Vehbi Bajrami, , and other  members of the Albanian community 
living in this city, friends or clients of Mr.  Kaufman. 
The celebration was followed closely  by the representatives of local 
social service agencies, advocates and friends,  clients of the lawyer Stephen B. 
Kaufman, who had to come to celebrate together,  and to congratulate him on 
the opening of his office. 
“I am pleased about providing  professional services to the citizens of the 
Bronx and I will be able to focus  on accident cases, Wills and Estates, 
and real estate and be able to help the  Albanian American community”. 
City Council member, Mr. James Vacca  (D-Bronx) and the President of the 
Albanian Society Foundation U. S. Mr. Esad A.  Rizai, said that Mr. Kaufman 
has dedicated his life to community service as a  public official for many 
years and as a community  activist. 
His deep commitment has been to  improve the quality of life for children, 
seniors, homeowners, and tenants, to  family medical assistance, and help 
residents of the Bronx. His help to the  community is defined in the data 
first as a State Assemblyman and his nine year  tenure as a member of the City 
Council of New York City and three decades of  public service. 
Attorney Stephen (Steve) Kaufman, a  former official of the City of New 
York, has been a great friend of the  Albanians. Esad Rizai, president of the 
Albanian American Society, spoke of  Kaufman’s friendship personally and his 
help with the Albanian community  especially in 1999 when Kaufman chaired a 
New York City Fundraiser effort for  the refugees of Kosovo. 
Kaufman never forgets one of the  most wonderful things is his friendship 
with the Albanians and the opportunity  as a former official on November 23, 
2003, together with a delegation from the  Municipality, he and the mayor of 
New York City, Michael Bloomberg, visited  Kosovo and met with Kosova’s 
first president, Dr. Ibrahim Rugova, from which  Kaufman retains some relics 
from Kosova, which are kept in his  office.
