Reminds me of the story a bicycle policeman told our bicycle club. He
was riding down the street when these four boys in an old Camero came by and
one leaned out the window and yelled at him, "Get up on the sidewalk where
you belong."
He took off after them but they would go just fast enough to stay in
front of him, all the time with the passengers leaning out the windows
taunting him. The only problem was they forgot about his radio.
A patrol car pulled them over a few blocks ahead. Since it was his call,
they were turned over to the bicycle cop when he arrived. He found the kid
driving had a suspended license, no insurance and his tags were expired. The
other three all had outstanding warrants so they all ended up in the back
seats of patrol cars.
While he was writing several tickets for the driver, the tow truck
arrived to tow his car away. The guy asked him, "How am I going to get
home?"
"Get up on the sidewalk where you belong."
