When it came time for a tandem, we wanted to skip the learning curve. We  
bought a trike from Greenspeed.  Initial cost was high, but cost per usage,  
over 11 years now is very low.  ICE makes a great tandem trike.  I  don't 
know much about the terra trike version.  Enjoy....and check out the  tandem 
trikes on CGOAB
