I'm a bit of a bandwidth pig so I cringe when I see small caps for 
bandwidth by providers. I suppose this could be a good idea to use if 
you were traveling off the beaten path, and knew knew that Verizon had 
service in the area (3G and a fallback to 2G). While I've traveled with 
a cellular modem, I also found that it was nice enough when there were 
desolate times to not want to check my mail, find out what is happening 
in the world, and just stopped at coffee shops/restaurants and mingled 
with patrons while utilizing one of the many free wifi hotspots 
available. Try WiFiFoFum for the ITouch if you have a jail broken unit, 
it is a beautiful scanner for wireless networks.

Now if there was an unlimited package for say $35, I'd be lining up to 
get one with you..
