<For now I'm going to try hand washing my cycle clothes in a cut down milk jug but I can't fit my cycle shorts. Darn.> Mark and Phreds, For washing clothes while on tour without a sink, just put your clothes in a plastic bag ( I use a silnylon stuff sack) add a little bio-friendly soap and enough water, then smush (kneed) it up real good. Pour out the water, in a spot 200' min. away from any creek or river, wring out the excess water, then do the same with just water sans the soap a couple of times. When your'e done washing and rinsing, take each piece of clothing and roll it up in your towel and wring it out again to aid in the drying process. Best, Carl in San Diego (preparing for the Tour De Palm Spings this Sat).
