   I ride those paths a lot I think the 28% reduction is low. The city has 
changed a lot of the traffic lights so as cars are not turning as bikes are 
crossing the intersections. That reduces the biggest danger.

  We have an East-West and a North-South commuter paths that are open year 
around and the biggest danger is pedestrians who step off the sidewalk 
without looking.
