  Montreal. The study uses the terms "tracks and paths."

   The bike paths or tracks named in the study are separated from the road by a concrete median. On some, cars park on the outside of the curb and on some there are no parked cars.

  My point is that the bike tracks or paths have traffic signals installed to protect cyclists from cars turning in intersections while the parallel streets do not. This greatly increases safety.

  Also, Montreal does not allow right turns on red lights.
