There's an awful lot of context missing from these study summaries.
What is a 'cycle track'?  What are the risks which are less?  Trivial
injury, serious injury, death?

Not sure how applicable the actual study is to cycle touring.

Well, now there's the touring content, I guess.

Just goes to show that drivers are not the only ones with a sense
of entitlement.

Again, it's not clear to me that urban cycling studies have much
to say about intercity cycle touring.
