    Guess I'm a belt and suspenders sort of guy because I always carry a 
backup camera or at least two bodies if it's an SLR. If it was an important 
shoot, I'd carry a couple spares.
    I bought an Olympus OM-PC with a 28~70 lens when we were getting ready 
for our 'round the world tour and even though it was new, I also took along 
a little Olympus XA. It was never out of the box as the larger one didn't 
miss a beat. I also took all the film I anticipated needing and kept it in a 
lead foil packet.
    BTW, I've heard these new full body scanners will scramble the 
electronics in cameras and watches.
