I use a face shield that flips up or down. It is actually made to slip over the forehead front to back like a U. The green shield is longer then the visor so it gives more sun shade. I pull it down sometimes if rocks could hit my face.. Push it up and it keeps the sun off my face like the bill of a hat. I bought my originally one from a catalog called American Science and Surlpus at WWW.sciplus.com . . Then I found them in the Kings dollar store and got about 5 of them. I zip tie it to the helmet and really like them. I don't know if they are still available.

Hi Dave
I looked back through my ERRC magazines and found the link:
ww.lobosolo.com/visor
Unfortunately they are all sold out.
And I saw on a Bentrider Online forum that the maker, JW Stephens, is not
aking them anymore.

I have looked in the archives but have not been able to find the name or
e-mail of the person who was selling carbon fiber helmet visors. Google
 hasn't help either.

Does anybody out there remember where I can buy another one? It
attaches to any helmet with velcro. My current one has 5 years on it
and is still perfect, but my wife wants one now.
