My Garmin 705 has an inclinometer that can be optionally be be displayed. I enjoy seeing how the hills compare when touring. Here's one of the more hilly days of my last tour that I uploaded from the unit: http://ridewithgps.com/routes/198392 If you click Metrics in the upper right, ot will show the max and avg grades. Dragging your mouse pointer over the route or the elevation at the bottom will show the grade too along with other stats. kw.
