Wendell: I fully understand why we all need a single speed in the sable. Fun to ride around town. Easy to maintain and clean up in bad weather, etc.. I'm resurrecting my old Cannonadle SM 500 from 1988 for such a purpose. Why have you chosen a single speed for loaded, long distance, touring? I think it's great in that it's different and a physical challenge. Kent Peterson raced the GDMBR on a ridged framed single speed! Just wondering.
