I love this -- the Magnetic Mountain that pulls your car up the hill. 
I've realized in recent years how many special places there were that 
people would visit, some even to make vacations out of. Here in New York 
State I remember that lots of cars would have signs on their bumpers 
(before stickers, they got wired on) from the major tourist attractions 
back in the 1950s. The major ones were Niagara  Falls (of course), Howe 
Caverns, Ausable Chasm, and a few other caves and "petrified creatures" 
and such. In those days people didn't travel thousands of miles 
recreationally and these small wonders, within a day's drive on 
pre-Interstate highways, got lots of traffic. Among them were the 
magnetic hills. I can't remember one in New York State, but I assume 
they must be everywhere. The last one I saw was one near Moncton, New 
Brunswick, where they still had some billboards urging people to go see 
the amazing Magnetic Hill on their way to see the Tidal Bore. Not much 
crowding around such things in the era of Disney World.
