Hand written journals

Over the years I have just used simple spiral notebooks.  79 cents at the store. Nothing special.  Keep em wrapped in a plastic bag.  

I've winter camped for weeks, mountain climbed, bike toured, rambled in Europe, and w/ an occasional little damage, they've done fine.  When I get home, I scan them into the computer and have them sitting on a couple bookshelves.  The originals molder on the shelf.  

Good enough for Lewis & Clark.  Good enough for me.
