Have driven on them on dry tracks in a Seven and on very wet roads too, 
also on a 21.

Compared with the stickier 32's they are naturally less grippy.  IMHO they 
are a good compromise as they are so much more efficient in wet 
conditions. If you are a fair weather se7ener and unlikely to see rain 
often the 32's are fine, but don't last as long as the 539's. If you do 
mixed (weather) driving I think the 539 is a good compromise. They're not 
for the guy who does track days every month, but more for the odd track 
day here and there with loads of road miles in between.

32, different tread)
CR500's         Need work to get warm but then v. good  Good  Ask me next 
year, I'm at 6.5k on mine and just OK
Yoko 539's              A sport tyre, so grippy but not stunning Very Good 
                        Don't know, I'd expect 8k or 2 years (Hardening)

Thats my vote anyway :-))

N.B. * Average in this context is for a "Sport tyre". It is below average 
if compared with tin top type wet weather tyres. 

If you then weigh up your annual mileage, driving type (Commuter / track 
day nutter) versus price and expectations you should find a tyre in the 
list above.
