A stock Vx with a decent flywheel will probably out accelerate the JPE then!

The twin plate from QED with their light steel flywheel puts the spring on
the pressure plate about 5mm further back from the stock clutch.

Certainly with the Titan release cylinder I just fitted to my lotus it is
just a matter of spacing the cylinder a bit further forward.

I am not too familiar with the Caterham integral release so I am not sure
what bearing they use. If it is a stock ford bearing like the cable release
my Vx has then Burton do release bearings that are a little fatter to deal
with the twin plate setups. It should just be a matter of putting a spacer
behind the release bearing.

My solution involved a big hammer and bending the arm but that will not work
for you.

Hope this is some help. Another option would be to get a flywheel made from
Farndon (long wait time). They can make you a flywheel with a forward
leaning dish such the clutch is in the same place. With some carefull
measurement it should work as stock. A custom flywheel is not much more
expensive.

I seem to have stumped Caterham. I am amazed to hear that even the 
apparently "b@lls out" dogs dangly JPE ran a standard flywheel. My problem 
is that I am attempting to use a lightened flywheel which calls for a 
7.25" clutch either single or twin plate. Nobody seems to know if this is 
possible or what parts to use...

Anybody out there done it or know someone who has?

SBD aren't sure, but know it can be done, they just can't recall which 
bits and if a twin plate will go in there or not.
