Two others I've spoken with are thinking about mounting it on the steering
wheel. The display and printed circuit board measures 10x6.5cm (including
warning lights). Depth is 3cm plus rear multiconnector. Box will be slightly
larger than this. A remote mount would be possible with or without the round
front section.

That said, the speedo is easy to read, and the system will monitor all the
important stuff and alert you if anything is wrong, so you shouldn't need to
keep your eyes glued to the display.

Hmmm,

How big is the display system?

I'm huyooooge fan of things being in near line-of-site and don't look that
far
down into the dash very often - a remote mount on the scuttle would suit
me...

Price sounds tempting :}
