Dear Roger, I found that my problem with idling wasn't the iacv but fact that the plastic plenum was slightly out of round. Gripping the its mouth at 3 & 9 o'clock reduced the idling revs to something more respectable. So, I over-tighten the jubilee clip holding the air filter to bring the shape back to more what it should be. The thing is, I have noticed the problem to be worse in the colder weather. It might be worth a look. By the way. I'm based in Chesterfield. We should go for a blast sometime.
